How to install vinyl shutters over vinyl siding
In this video, I demonstrate how I install vinyl shutters over vinyl siding to improve the look of my shed.
My window is 17 inches by 35 inches and includes J-Channel for the siding making the window appear slightly larger. The shutters I purchased are 14 3/4 inches wide by 35 inches tall. These come with 8 screws and 8 plastic spikes. You can decide which you choose to use. I chose to use the spikes.
Installation was easy but as you can see in my intro care must be taken when installing the spikes. I used a hammer to install them, which was fine with very light taps that were perfectly aligned with the spike. I purchased a pack of viny shutter spikes to replace the broken one.

      This happened to me as well. There are several things to check. One possibility is to completely replace the carb as I did in one of my videos listed in the link. You can try to clean it out but be warned as it can be tedious since there are ports and inlets/outlets in a couple of spots that you'll need to clean. Definitely check the need to make sure that it moves freely and as mentioned inspect all ports. If you have an ultrasonic cleaner you can clean the carb that way. But for the less than $20 for a replacement carb you might hit a homerun with simply replacing it. udoit.me/home-improvement/equipment-maintenance-repair/pressure-washer/

      I'm not an expert on this but I encountered it as a result of connecting the linkages incorrectly after working on my carb. I had to go back to some previous videos that I shot to compare my connections. Once everything was hooked up correctly it worked. If everything is connected correctly then it could be a carb issue. Again, I'm not an expert on this area. - John

    • @UDoIt2
      @UDoIt2 3 місяці тому

      Getting the correct part can take a while. I selected mine based on my VIN and going to the mopar website and selecting the proper part. There are other variables that go into the selection also. For instance, your VIN lists all of the parts as it was from the factory. But, if any repairs were done and upgrades made from the deal in response to recalls or newer parts this could change which brake tubes you need. So start with the VIN but don't be surprised if it doesn't fit. For my model, it was a early version for the year. But then if I bought 6 months later I would have had a different version since Dodge changed the design. Hope this helps. - John store.mopar.com/?mopar+chrysler+parts

      I believe it needs to be - I did not. But, it had incredible results. I did not apply this to our lawn this year because I was so busy completing my shed build. It made such a difference last year. And I can tell because my lawn does not look the same as it did this time last year. I hope it's not too late for me to apply it. I also applied that triple action stuff - the triple action was the thing that stopped weeds. - John

      Is this in reference to the dial number? I think I might have realized that later in the video.
